These days on several nationwide newspapers, Giulio Barbieri continues to express his constructive criticism towards the Italian political class. This time his suggestions are addressed to the Parliament. Since last Friday Giulio Barbieri has been taking part as guest in the programme “L'Ultima Parola” on RAI 2 channel presented by the anchorman Gianluigi Paragone.

Giulio Barbieri's awareness campaign about the gravity of the economic situation carries on in the “Corriere della sera”, one of the most reputable Italian newspapers. He suggested to the Italian political class to cut down on public spending by binding the election reimbursement only to those citizens who express a valid vote. Currently political parties receive money also for those who leave blank ballot, produce a voided ballot paper or even decide not to go to the polls.

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 17, 2012 -- SunPower Corp. (NASDAQ: SPWR), a Silicon Valley-based manufacturer of high efficiency solar cells, solar panels and solar systems today announced that it has partnered with Giulio Barbieri S.p.A., to design and manufacture the new SunPower® Carport (solar carport), for the Italian residential markets. Under the terms of the agreement, Giulio Barbieri will deliver carport structures depending on customer specifications.

The Solar Carport by Giulio Barbieri integrated in an educational project
The company Giulio Barbieri took part in an educational project about photovoltaics, promoted by the vocational college G. Marconi in Cavarzere (Venice -Italy). The aim was to provide students with an advanced professional training and to facilitate their integration into the work world. The focus of the project was the aluminium carport Energy Parking manufactured by the firm Giulio Barbieri on the top of which a small PV-plant designed by the students themselves has been installed. As a matter of fact the students moved into practice, installating the Carport that from today will be located in the school garden.

BUSINESS TRIP TO BAHRAIN – March, 13th - 14th
Giulio Barbieri and Simona Rizzardi travelled to Bahrain to meet one of the most important international companies operating in the construction sector, particularly in the architectural, shipbuilding and industrial field, counting more than 12,000 employees and over 60 daughter companies in as many countries. Such a significant collaboration could help us to acquire a greater visibility in the Arabian market, which is currently experiencing an economic boom.
"SELF-ENERGY" THE EV CHARGING STATION BY GIULIO BARBIERI GETS THE HEART OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY
The official visit of President Barroso will take place today, March 16th, 2012, at the IET (Institute for Energy and Trasport) in Ispra (Varese – Italy), where some projects concerning innovation and research in the renewable energy field will be presented. Among the various solutions, Mr Barroso will have the chance to personally verify the extent of the innovation by Giulio Barbieri: “a stand-alone photovoltaic charging station for electric vehicles, which generates Clean Energy available at zero costs and zero kilometers”.

The triennal edition 2012 of trade fair R + T Stuttgart is just concluded and it can be confirmed that the international visitors are increased. For the company Giulio Barbieri the after trade was absolutely positive: many new contacts are willing to cooperate for resale our products and many of our current clients don’t miss the opportunity to visit our stand. That confirmed that despite our company is in a period of internationalization and expansion we are following our commercial philosophy to have always good relationships. At our stand Giulio Barbieri exposed our new shelter “HOME PARKING” a coverage for cars completely in aluminium, with anchoring base plates in cement which don’t need any work of mansory or foundations.

After several meetings a new idea arose: using Energy Parking as bus shelter . With photovoltaic modules on the top, Energy Parking results to be a stand-alone charging infrastructure perfect for mobile phones and laptops, completely indipendent from the electrical grid. Particular interest has also been deserved to the aluminum carport Home Parking and to the EV charging station Self-Energy .
