Osnabrück – Electric vehicle charging station for the Regional Public Headquarter
Giulio Barbieri has manufactured and installed Self-Energy the new complete ev charging station for the regional head office in Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, in collaboration with the German company SUNOS GmbH. Self-Energy evse will recharge a C-ZERO Citroёn car as well as bicycles and other electric vehicles.
The first Osnabrück county manager, Mr Stefan Muhle underlined the symbolic importance of having installed the ev charging station for electric vehicles arguing how sustainable mobility and clean energy production can be strictly connected.
Moreover the electric car charging station has been applauded by Dr Winfried Wilkens, in charge of Environment for the Osnabrück administrative district, as it represents the first example of the region. Everybody wishes other administrations had similar attention to environmentally friendly enterprises.
In harmony with the slogan: “WE SUPPORT E-MOTION. EVERYWHERE.” the vehicle charging stations are already an European success. Further units will be soon settled in Germany, France and Sweden in confirmation of the fact that town halls and European administrations are sensitive to Electro-mobility as a viable solution to environmental concern. We believe that European experience represents an additional input to Italian municipalities to increase their engagement to sustainable mobility.
