Valletta - evse Self Energy and solar carport Energy Parking: AN INVITATION TO CHANGE!
On Thursday 24th of November at Valletta port for the first time the following products have been officially launched: the charging station for electric vehicles SELF-ENERGY and the solar carport ENERGY PARKING, fully made of aluminium and characterised by very easy set-up, suitable to every location and with no need for foundation works. Giulio Barbieri personally attended this event which has been organised by his business partners in Malta: OK Ltd and Bajada New Energy Group.
Mark Bajada, Adrian Stivala in partnership with Tancred Tabone, President of the Chamber of Commerce in Malta, have the objective to spread a clear and strong message: an invitation to change! This has been the leitmotif also in the press releases and advertising through the local media in order to officially introduce this important and innovative project.
In a difficult economic period when the price of fuel continues to rise and the environment is heavily affected by a steady air pollution degree, for the first time on the island it is proposed the idea to install ev charging stations complete with stand-alone photovoltaic plants to charge electric vehicles of any kind.
The business project started by Ok Ltd./Bajada group in partnership with the company Giulio Barbieri is right on time with the green campaign launched by Malta's government. The governmental authorities are almost ready to issue a public tender for installing several charging points on the island to connect electric vehicles. The electromobility is becoming more and more a reality, besides an energetic and environmental requirement. For this reason it is important to create and offer infrastructures to realize such an important project.

Giulio Barbieri, during his speech for the launch, has underlined the importance to be "far-sighted" in order to comply with the demands of a changing market and to remain always on the edge: this is the only recipe, the "magic" ingredient to defeat the economic recession.
Giulio Barbieri was also expressing how proud he is to transmit a strong cultural message aimed at spreading the awareness that it's time now to preserve the environment not only in words. The event, due to the importance of its contents, has been extremely successful.

Many visitors attended the event: Valletta Cruise Port plc (Viset Corporate plc) offered its enviable location at Waterfront: local magazines and TV have reserved great attention to this piece of news!
The electric car charging station Self-Energy and the solar parking carport Energy Parking will be installed and demonstrated in various locations in Malta and Gozo to put further emphasis on this project.
