SOLAR CARPORT TO CHARGE EVs FOR DOMESTIC USE
Giulio Barbieri S.p.A. presents the new solar carport to charge electric vehicles for free with solar energy!
Thanks to the new solar carport, manufactured by the company Giulio Barbieri S.p.A., settled in Ferrara (Italy), it is possible to charge electric vehicles easily at home, without adding costs, using solar energy stored during the day.
"More and more families choose to buy electric vehicles. We offer a solar carport, which combines its traditional function as safe shelter for your cars with the innovative task as stand-alone solar charging station. For those who want to save further, there is the possibility to add a second PV plant to produce energy for domestic use and to sell to the electrical grid the exceeding one." explains Giulio Barbieri, the owner.
The charging plant consists of 6 photovoltaic panels, 2 power units and 3 separate pre-wired boxes, placed on the upper beam, where the inverter and 2 battery banks are located.
The wide top cover is presented in 2 versions: the first combines an elegant glass surface with the PV panels, whereas the second has an additional photovoltaic plant with 12 panels to generate electricity to power directly your home and to be sold to the electrical grid.
The supporting structure is made of aluminum, therefore it doesn't require maintenace interventions. It can be repositioned anywhere, as it is equipped with reinforced concrete loads, that need no foundation works for the installation.
